Time to say goodbye to Australia :/ With mixed feelings right now, but I'm still sure I will be back in the future, so no worries guys, we'll see each other again :)
In Auckland now. Bit disorienting to travel again after living stationary for so long, but nevertheless; this is the thing I want to do. We only arrived today, but did a quick walkabout of Auckland, seems like a nice city. Good timing too, there was a regatta going on in the harbor, so we got to see lots of cool (and insanely expensive) boats. Tomorrow it's time to see all the sights and start planning this NZ thing: what do we really want to do? :)

A tip for fellow budget travelers in Oz
If you have your own laptop with you while traveling Australia, I strongly recommend you to buy a mobile broadband. This way you will avoid using the highway-robbery-priced hostel internet connections, and you can access internet almost anywhere in the continent (except outback of course). You pay by the transfer (e.g, 1GB of transfer for 1 month), but for just emails and the "necessary stuff" that is plenty.
